Recommend it for solo travelers
You know, the breakfast is something else. full English, but also fresh fruits, cereals, and all that. And the owner? A former chef! He knows what he's doing in that kitchen!
Yeah, not exactly cheap, but honestly, it was worth every penny.

Arriving early, I was pleasantly surprised to find the parking sorted in no time and the full English breakfast was top-notch, especially with those extra pancakes! I enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace with a good book and a coffee, the perfect way to unwind. The only thing I'd point out is that the room could use a slight update, but honestly, it didn’t take away from my stay at all! 😊

The room was really clean and had a comfy king-sized bed. It was well-equipped with a mini fridge and a TV. Plenty of cupboard space too, which is a plus. The bathroom was neat with basic amenities. Just a short walk to town, and there’s a bus stop nearby. Not much noise coming from the street, which was nice. decent space to chill out after a day out.

we had an amazing honeymoon trip at tusker lodge. the room was cozy, with a lovely garden view and a fridge, perfect for our snacks. sandy's breakfast was the highlight, with delicious avocado toast and cooked options that fueled our adventures around torquay.

Chill vibes and cozy rooms
Had a super comfy stay! The room was nice and quiet, great for sleeping in. Gordon & Carol are just the best! Breakfast was tasty, and the mini fridge in the room was a nice touch. Only thing is, the parking can be a bit tricky at times. I'd totally come back next year!

Impeccable cleanliness and great service
Our stay was fantastic! The room was impeccably clean, featuring quality fittings and a comfortable bed that ensured a restful sleep. The location is ideal, with easy parking at the rear and close proximity to local attractions. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was the limited breakfast options available, which could use a little variety.

Had a lovely 5 nights in a super clean Budget Single Room. It had a private bathroom with a full-size bath and hot water. The drinks were refilled daily, and the bed was comfy. Great location near the harbor, with easy parking at the back. The owners were really friendly and welcoming.

had a great time at tusker lodge! the hosts were super friendly and made us feel at home right away. the room was clean and comfy, more space than we expected for a compact double. breakfast was really good too, you gotta try sandys full english, it’s amazing! location was perfect, just 5 mins walk to the harbour.
only downside was parking situation, kinda tight and limited. also, some noise from the street could be heard at night.
